Andy Michlin
Pianist, Vocalist
Native Dallasite Andy Michlin has never had a “regular” job. He played his first pro gig at age 16. At 21, Andy joined The New Christy Minstrels. He then traveled the world with legends like Liza Minelli, Tom Jones, Lou Rawls, and Louis Prima. He was Musical Director for the long-running Chicago stage show of “A Midsummer’s Night’s Dream.” Andy thinks he’s played (at least!) 1,000 weddings, parties, corporate events, fashion shows, and charity events. Beginning in 2008 through last year, Andy was the Musical Director of the Spectacular Follies. This year, he’ll perform as pianist and singer of a 50s tune with three backup singers.

Angela Stanley
Dancer, Dallas Tap Dazzlers
Angela started dancing as a young child. While raising children, she taught Jazzercise and worked for Plano ISD as a network software engineer. She choreographed community productions, and performed in various venues in the Carolinas and Texas. Angela fell in love with tapping, and performed in several shows at the McKinney Performing Arts Center. She tapped, acted, choreographed and directed many acts in the Heritage Ranch Variety Show. She has been a proud member of the Follies since 2018, and a member of the Dallas Tap Dazzlers since 2019. It’s a blessing to be with such a wonderful and talented group of women who demonstrate that tap dancing is ageless! Angela loves being with her family and spending time with her three grandsons.

Anne Whiteman
Vocalist
Anne Whiteman wasn’t born in Texas, but got here just as soon as she could! Anne has been a member of Sweet Adeline’s Chorus “The Rich-Tones” for 40 years, winning 4 world championships with them and dancing on their front row for over 21 years. She has been a singer/dancer in 4 musicals, and was a dancer for 3 years in the BGSU Pommerettes. Anne was in the All Ohio Youth Choir, and performed with them in the Rose Parade and a European Tour. In addition to singing, Anne plays piano, organ and cornet, and has had dance training in tap, jazz, and ballet.
By day, Anne works in the Information Technology field for PepsiCo. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Bowling Green State University in Ohio in Math & Computer Science and an MBA from SMU. Anne is a member of Mensa, the high IQ society. She is also trained in martial arts and has earned her 1st gup brown belt in Tae Kwando, as well as a black belt in Kobudo (weapons Karate).
Anne and her husband Paul Whiteman have a blended family of 5 sons, 4 daughter-in-laws, 3 granddaughters, 2 grandsons, and many grand “fur babies”. They love adventure, and have traveled cross country several times on their Harley motorcycle. They are members of North Texas Renewable Energy Group (NTREG) and have an electric vehicle that is fueled mainly by the energy that comes from their solar panels (Who cares how high the gas prices rise, as long as there is sun?). Anne and Paul sing in church choir and ring bells in the church’s bell choir. They occasionally perform at various locations with BYO Musicians (a non-profit group comprised of business people who like to make music and give back). It is Anne and Paul’s first year in the Follies, and they are having a blast!

Audra Wadsworth
Dancer
This is Audra’s first year with the Spectacular Follies! Audra attended Booker T. Washington during high school and majored in dance. In 2018 she had her first ever ballroom lesson and was hooked! She loves to compete and perform and is also studying ballet and tap. Audra is a Mom of 3, a Grandmother of 4, has 7 pets, a wonderful husband and is a proud Native Texan. She seeks out adventure and will try almost anything – including flying trapeze!

Barbara Frank
Dancer, Class Act Tap Company, Chicks with Sticks
Barbara is a Dallas native and grew up in East Dallas, attending Casa View Elementary, Robert T. Hill Jr. High and Bryan Adams High School, graduating in 1964. She followed Bill, her high school sweetheart, to ETSU (now A&M Commerce) and she had 3 great years with wonderful Gamma Phi Beta sorority sisters. She and Bill married in 1967 and had two amazing children, Stacie and David, who have filled her life with love and lots of fun!
Barbara has always loved watching all musicals and finally was able to take tap as an adult from Texie Waterman. Ten years later, in 1997, her life became even more fun and exciting when she joined Class Act Tap Company! What a blessing to get to share the joy of tap dancing and wonderful music with audiences all over the metroplex and even on stage in Branson and in Atlantic City.
Barbara loves traveling, entertaining, making Shutterfly books, videos and hanging out with her fabulous family and friends. She is thrilled to be back to live entertainment and hopes you derive tons of joy from our show!

Benny Barrett
Vocalist
Benny began performing professionally at the age of five – 66 years ago. However, he didn’t really hit the boards until Dr. Rose-Mary Rumbley, Ph.D taught him everything he knows about performing. As a result of that education Benny has performed on stage, screen, radio and television. His favorite performances have been when he is sharing the stage with Rose-Mary. Rose-Mary was also instrumental as the Singles Director of the church in bringing together Benny and his precious wife, Noni. Benny is indebted to and dearly loves Rose-Mary Rumbley.

Beth Weems Pirtle

Beth Weems Pirtle is an original Follies Showgirl from 2008. She is Ms. Texas Senior America 2003; 1st runner up Ms. Senior America 2003.
