Amy Cave

Featured Dancer

Amy Cave is a dynamic singer, dancer, and actress based in the DFW metroplex with a distinguished record of performance and choreography. A multi-year nominee for both acting and choreography, she contributed choreography to the Best Musical award-winning production of “Billy Elliot the Musical” and received a Best Supporting Actress nomination for her performance in the Best Play award-winning production of “The Whale”.
Her favorite performance credits include Golde in “Fiddler on the Roof”; Cinderella’s Mother, Granny, and the Giant in “Into the Woods”; Liz in “The Whale”; Grumio in “The Taming of the Shrew”; and Ethel Banks in “Barefoot in the Park”.
Additional highlights include Woodstock (and choreographer) in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”; Miss Cratchitt/stripper in “Gypsy”; Jennyanydots in “Cats”; and Sister Sophia in “The Sound of Music”.
Known for her versatility, comic timing, and strong physical storytelling, Amy brings depth, heart, and precision to every stage she graces.

Angela Jackson

Showgirl

Angela is delighted to join the cast for her first appearance on the Spectacular Follies! She is currently employed with Lewisville ISD and is the Founder of Metropolitan Charm & Modeling. As an entrepreneur(owner of Metropolitan Charm & Modeling), she has proudly taught modeling and manners to hundreds of children throughout DFW & Texas. While growing up in Southeast Texas she participated as a track & field athlete, dancer and model. Which also lead her to advance to the high school Track & Field State Meet, running the 440 yd dash; dance for the Lamar University Dance Company & model for several agencies and companies. During college, she competed in pageants for scholarships and is now proud to pay it forward while serving on the Miss Texas Scholarship Organization Board of Directors.

Angela Stanley

Dancer, Dallas Tap Dazzlers

Angela has been a member of the Dallas Tap Dazzlers since 2019. It is such a blessing to be with a wonderful group of women who demonstrate that tap dance is ageless. The Dazzlers perform in venues in Texas, as well as shows in other states. Angela has performed numbers in musicals, which include, “Cell Block Tango” from Chicago, “One” from a Chorus Line, and “Jellicle Ball” from Cats. Angela loves being with her family and spending time with her three grandsons.

Angie Smith

Dancer, Dallas Tap Dazzlers

Dancing since the age of 5, Angie has danced tap, jazz, ballroom, hip hop, and was a high school musical choreographer for over a decade. Angie is retired from 31 years in public education, serving as a teacher, principal, and district administrator. She currently performs as a Dallas Tap Dazzler. Her newest venture is pop-up dance workshops around DFW for fun and exercise. This is Angie’s first year to be an ensemble dancer for the Follies, and she is thrilled to be a part of this amazing show!

Audra Wadsworth

Dancer

This is Audra’s fourth year with the Spectacular Follies. Audra took dance as a girl at Frieda Sexton’s dance studio in Garland. She attended Booker T Washington high school and majored in Dance. In 2018 she had her first ever ballroom dance lesson and was hooked! Audra performs with Sassafras Dance Team – an adult Jazz group. She continues to challenge herself and grow by learning new styles of dance and always striving to improve her technique and performance quality.

Barbara Frank

Barbara is a Dallas native and grew up in East Dallas, attending Casa View Elementary, Robert T. Hill Jr. High and Bryan Adams High School, graduating in 1964. She followed Bill, her high school sweetheart, to ETSU (now A&M Commerce) and she had 3 great years with wonderful Gamma Phi Beta sorority sisters. She and Bill married in 1967 and had two amazing children, Stacie and David, who have filled her life with love and lots of fun!

Barbara has always loved watching all musicals and finally was able to take tap as an adult from Texie Waterman. Ten years later, in 1997, her life became even more fun and exciting when she joined Class Act Tap Company! What a blessing to get to share the joy of tap dancing and wonderful music with audiences all over the metroplex and even on stage in Branson and in Atlantic City.

Barbara loves traveling, entertaining, making Shutterfly books, videos and hanging out with her fabulous family and friends. She is thrilled to be back to live entertainment and hopes you derive tons of joy from our show!

Berlynne Davis

Vocalist

Berlynne Davis is a songstress, and song writer who blends story telling with faith based genre that inspire and spread the love of God. She has been singing with Gospel choirs, performing arts choirs and praise teams most of her life. Berlynne was personally invited to study jazz at Cal State University by the late great legendary jazz singer Nancy Wilson. She did not take the opportunity, but that missed open door has given her the courage to move forward with her dreams no matter what. She has written over 30 songs with many more in progress, and as long as God is willing she plans to be published, and writing for others.

Beth Weems Pirtle

Showgirl

Beth Weems Pirtle is an original Follies Showgirl from 2008. She is Ms. Texas Senior America 2003; 1st runner up Ms. Senior America 2003. She is a graduate of the American High School in Mexico City and speaks Spanish. She holds degrees from University of Texas and Southern Methodist University and a certification in counseling. Retired in 1994 after 26 years teaching. She and her husband, Rodney, have 3 children and 6 grandchildren. Her family, volunteering, and tennis are her passions!

Betsy Lee

Dancer, Showgirl, Sassafras Dance Group

Betsy took her first dance lesson when she was 43 and has not stopped dancing since. She is one of the original founders of USA DANCE DALLAS which is a local chapter of USA DANCE, INC., a national 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) non-profit organization that promotes ballroom dancing. She spent 12 years as its Treasurer and through her many years with the chapter, has learned numerous styles of dance including Ballroom, Argentine Tango, West Coast Swing and Salsa. To this day, she’s no longer on the board but still volunteers on its special committees.

In 2016, Betsy decided to take on a new challenge and began tap dancing with the Dallas Tap Dazzlers and soon after, joined the Follies cast in 2017. She became the newest member of the Follies showgirls and dance ensemble. Betsy joined the Follies board as their Treasurer in 2022 and hopes to help enrich the vitality of the senior community through song and dance.

In 2024 she accepted another challenge to learn a new dance style. She joined a senior jazz group named “Sassafras” which debuted in the 2025 Follies show “Feeling Groovy! Our tribute to the 60’s and 70’s”. In 2026, she joined the cast of the “Curtain Up! The Best of Broadway” show as a showgirl, dancer, specialty act partner dancing and Sassafras.

Bettie Roeber

Showgirl

Bettie Roeber began dance training at the age of three. She graduated from The University of Oklahoma with a BFA degree in ballet. She was a soloist of both the Fort Worth and Dallas Civic Ballet and Oklahoma City Ballet Companies. She has also taught dance in the U.S. and abroad and performed in the Southern Palace Revue at Six Flags Over Texas, the College Capers show for American Airlines, and USO shows in Korea. She is delighted to be a part of the Spectacular Follies for a thirteenth year.

Bettye Martin

Dancer, Class Act Tap Company

A native Dallasite, now resides at Heritage Ranch in Fairview. She had been dancing for 50+ years, Bettye performs in HR Variety Shows and plays, and performed in Platinum Follies and Contemporary Chorale. Retired owner/coach of Garland Flippers Gymnastics. She is blessed with a wonderful family including 18 great grandchildren. Excited to be performing this year.

Bill Medley

Vocalist

Bill has been singing since childhood, most often in the choirs of Zion Lutheran Church, Dallas. Having never taken any music theory courses, he considers himself a “trained” singer, not an “educated” one, but still loves it beyond measure. Highlights include a high school musical, opera chorus of The Living Opera for several years with his son, Mark, then starting his chamber chorus experience with The Kirk Singers, 15 years with The Texas Voices and now as a member of the Plano Civic Chorus and Plano Chamber Chorus. This is Bill’s first year with the Follies, pushing his performance experience to a new level.

Brigitta has been a member of the Dallas Tap Dazzlers for 14 years. This is her fourth year dancing with the Spectacular Follies. She is the current Secretary of the Spectacular Follies Board of Directors. She enjoys fitness and golf and time with her family.

Candy Kelley

A Texas native, Candy was born in Fort Worth. Dancing since the age of 3, she has been a member of the Dallas Tap Dazzlers for 28 years and a cast member of the Follies since 2008.

Carmen Gulledge

Vocalist

Carmen is a stage name from her Oahu Community Theater days (1990 to 2000) when she played that character in “Pajama Game.” She started singing at age 15 in her all female rock band called Rock Candy. She sang gospel music exclusively from 1976 to 1988 opening for Jack Van Impe crusades at the Waikiki Shell. The “Song of Ruth” consisted of mostly childhood friends from Palolo Valley and some studio backup opportunities came to them. Buffy Saint Marie wanted them as backup singers but they declined. She started singing in blues bands upon moving to Dallas. While married to Jack Gulledge she produced music at “The Kichen” recording studio and started “Sing with the band” similar to rock star karaoke. Her show won awards almost every year from D magazine while at the “Goat” in East Dallas.

Her children are her greatest productions.

Performed in many local community theater productions. Professionally at retirement venues and senior centers. In the courtroom reality show, EYE for an EYE. She sings, dances & does funny voices ( Betty Boop!). Studied with celebrity coach Gleni Tai & Broadway legend Betty Buckley. Performs with the Ms.Texas Senior America Cameo Club. In the Follies since it’s FIRST year! The only things which make her happier are her kids, Sally & Eddie Glass. Taught school for 23 years…so nothing scares her

Cenia Bowen

Dancer, Class Act Tap Company

Cenia has been a member of the cast and a Showgirl since 2018. She has been a member of Class Act Tap since Nov., 2017.

She is a native Texan and currently resides in Rockwall. She took tap & jazz lessons in the third and fourth grade. She graduated from Skyline High School, where she was a member of the drill team and Captain her senior year.

She earned a BS in Elementary Education from The University of Texas in Austin and a MS in Early Childhood Education from The University of North Texas. After 39 years as a public elementary school teacher, she retired and found her way back to dance and tap.

Growing up, she was able to attend a few Dallas Summer Musicals and wanted to grow up and dance, and maybe sing, in a big show. She has found that thrill, with being a part of the Follies, Class Act Tap Company and as an Ambassador at DSM.

Always active!!! While in school, when dancing wasn’t affordable, she was the neighborhood tom-boy playing kickball and softball in the streets, riding bikes, etc. In college, working toward a Physical Education minor, she participated in classes like badminton, dance, racquetball, swimming, and was even a guard for the winning co-ed intramural football team.

In her adult-after children life, she loves and participates in various dance exercise classes, such as Jazzercise, Zumba and now, U-Jam. She has taught adult aerobics classes, Bokwa, and currently teaches beginning tap to Seniors. She participates weekly in an aerobic dance class, Class Act Tap, yoga, Pilates, and Barre. She and James, her high-school sweetheart, have been married for 44 years. They follow his parents tradition, as well as his siblings, of marrying high school sweethearts-and all have remained married. They have two children and one grandchild.
